Lauren will walk you through all the steps, pun intended, to make two socks at the same time! Four sessions are scheduled in each class, but many students only need three. In this class we make a pair of sample socks with worsted weight yarn. This allows us to learn all the techniques you'll need in a timely manner.
Two classes available:
Class 1: August 17th - 20th; 6 - 8 pm
Class 2: Saturdays from 11 am - 1 pm; September 4, 11, 18, & 25

- Worsted weight yarn in two colors
- 1 pair of 40" or longer circular needles sized for the yarn (something in the US 7-9 range works best)
- 4 locking stitch markers
Deadlines & Minimums: Each class must have two students minimum (4 max). Deadline for Class 1 is August 15th. Deadline for Class 2 is September 1st.
About the book:
Knit two socks at a time, while working from the toe up! In this delightful guide, Melissa Morgan-Oakes shares her revolutionary knitting technique that allows you to try on the socks as you work, avoid running out of yarn, and steer clear of picking up stitches and the dreaded Kitchener stitch to finish off the toes. You can apply this exciting new technique to absolutely any sock pattern to help you to knit fabulous, perfectly formed pairs of socks for the whole family.
