Waiting for Winter Mittens and Fingerless Mitts is a fun and fast basic worsted weight mitten pattern. It is that go-to pattern to make the perfect fitting mitten for just about anyone in the family. The sizes are for adult Small (Medium, Large) (X-Large, XX-Large), to fit older kids, teens, women and men.

Gauge: 5 stitches = 1 inch in stockinette stitch
Needle size:US 7 - 4.5 mm Double Points or 32" - 40" for magic loop
Sizes available:To fit 6 (7, 8) (9, 10) inch hand circumference at knuckles: S (M, L) (XL, XXL), Medium fits an average woman's hand
The pattern requires 100 yards for the small size, 150 yards for the medium and 200 yards for the large size mittens. The fingerless mitts take less.
