Thursdays in October from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Beginning October 7th.
If you can knit, purl, increase, and decrease you can make a sweater! Lauren will help you learn all the techniques necessary to make a sweater. Not sure about increasing and decreasing? No problem! Lauren can teach that, too.
Skills learned include pattern reading, picking up stitches, holding stitches, backward loop cast on, using DPNs, and more.
This is a Yellow class in our Knit This Next series.
Materials: about 400 yards of worsted weight yarn, US 7 32" circular knitting needles, US 7 double pointed needles, stitch markers.
We will be making a sample size sweater that may fit an 18" doll. We do small versions of full size projects for many of our beginner classes in order to ensure that you can learn all the skills needed in a short amount of time and to minimize homework. The last session of the class will include help with project planning for a sweater of your choice.
