Dottie Scarf - Learn to Double Knit

Double Knitting is often seen as “magic” in the knitting community because you’re working with at least two yarns at any given time while working both the front and back pieces simultaneously giving you a reversible fabric.

You will learn how to cast on with two yarns, yarn forwards and back, tensioning techniques and more!

Learn this 'magical' skill while making this very timeless scarf. You will see me (Cristi) taking this class. This is a skill I have yet to learn and I'm excited to put this in my toolbox.

Materials: 300 yards each of 2 contrasting worsted weight colors (Andeamo Lite is a great choice); Size US7 needles; crochet hook for cast on; a copy of Dottie Scarf by Kaitlin Barthold found on Ravelry.
