Hamish the Highland Cow

We are in love with Hamish the Highland Cow or Coo!  He is our newest addition to our growing knitted farm collection!  Join us in making your very own highland cow and add a touch of Scottish charm to your farm and home. Choose between Hamish or Henrietta, if you want an adorable lady highland cow. (No bull here, this is the real deal!)

PLEASE NOTE:  The pattern pieces are knitted flat and all pieces are seamed afterwards. There are lots of separate pieces which require seaming and sewing.

Skills Required:  This is an intermediate class.  Students should be proficient in knitting, purling, and reading basic pattern instructions.

You Will Learn:  Guidance for knitting small pieces, seaming and sewing pieces together, basic construction of the highland cow

Materials Needed: 

Needles sizes US 2 and 2.5,  Worsted Weight yarn.  We recommend Berocco Vintage, Malabrigo Rios, Cherub Aran Solids
Toy stuffing (provided), Tapestry needle
