This DK-weight hat features a quilted, slip stitch hat (no stranding!) worked in a pattern that resembles a large chrysanthemum-style firework at the crown;
This hat matches up perfectly with all our beautiful Miss Babs Yowza yarns. (Or any DK weight that makes your heart soar... like a Firework!!
Skills Required for this Class: You should already be able to Knit, Purl, and Knit in the Round (these skills are not taught in this class)
You Will Learn: How to create a mosaic, colorwork-style hat with simple slip stitches
Materials Needed: US size 6, 16 inch circular needle; approx 200 yards of any DK weight yarn in two contrasting colorways (see pattern for your exact yardages)

HOMEWORK: Please, cast on the number of stitches required for your chosen hat size. Complete the ribbing section prior to class. We will begin body of hat at the beginning of class.
