Bang Out A Sweater Prep - Gauge Swatching and Measuring

Prepare for our Bang Out A Sweater Knitalong in October! Learn about swatching, gauge, and body measurements so you can make a sweater that fits YOU perfectly!

Skills Required: Must be able to knit and purl proficiently. Must be familiar with reading knitting patterns.

What You Will Learn: How to make and measure a gauge swatch, how to take your own body measurements, and how to pick the correct size sweater in the pattern.

Materials Needed: We will be using the Step by Step Sweater by Florence Miller. Please bring a printed copy. The is here on Raverly. You will also need to have purchased the yarn you plan to use for the BOAS Knitalong, plus the correct needle size for the body of the sweater. Please also bring a tape measure.
