What's Next? My First Hat

You've learned to knit and purl.....so What's Next? Learn to knit your first beanie! We will knit the Barley Hat by Tin Can Knits. We will guide you through how to join in the round (knit in a circle), use stitch markers, knit garter and stockinette stitch in the round and learn decreasing stitches for the crown.
Materials needed: One skein of worsted weight yarn (we recommend Rios or Cascade 220 Superwash), a US size 6,16 inch circular needle, a set of US 6 double pointed needles, stitch markers and a darning needle. We will provide the printed pattern.
SKILLS REQUIRED: This is a great class for an adventurous beginner who wants to improve their skills! You should have already taken "Learn to Knit" or be proficient in cast-on, knit, purl techniques. These will not be taught in the class.
