Bonbon Scarf

The Bonbon Scarf is worked from one tip to the other. It is knitted in easy garter stitch with an increase on one side and a decrease on the other side, making the scarf appear as if knitted in bias. The edges are knitted with slipped stitches that look like an i-cord. The length of the scarf can easily be adjusted— simply add more rows for a longer or more stitches for a wider scarf.

Materials Needed:  100 yards of DK weight yarn.  We are using our new Luka-S Alpakita.  It's a luscious, squishalicious baby alpaca.  You will need two contrasting colors. Plus, a size US4 needle.

Skills Required:  This is the perfect beginner class.  You should already know how to cast-on, knit and purl.

You Will Learn:  You will learn how to create a nice smooth edge on your knitted pieces and create a bias with simple increase and decrease stitches.

Homework:  Have your pattern and yarn purchased and ready before start of class.
