The pattern includes instructions on how to customize the size of the pumpkins. Have fun creating your very own Brioche Pumpkin Patch just in time for fall!
Skills Required: Comfortable with knit, purl, knitting in the round.
Brioche is not an easy skill to grasp for a beginner. It is required for you to be very comfortable with the skills required. We are not teaching cast on, knit/purl OR knitting in the round in this class. If you are not sure of your skill level, please contact us.
You Will Learn: Two color brioche knitting
Materials Needed: US size 7 needle for circular knitting, Worsted Weight or DK Weight yarn in two contrasting colorways. Some great choices would be: Kelbourne Woolens DK, Malabrigo Rios, KingCole HomeSpun DK Tweed. ALSO~a really fun idea for yarn choice: Glow Cozy or Glow Twist...glow in the dark yarn for a spooky brioche pumpkin!
Make sure both colorways are the same weight, i.e., both DK weight OR both Worsted Weight. Cotton yarns are not recommended for this project.
Homework: Please have yarn wound prior to class time and have your personal copy of Brioche Pumpkin Patch by Linda Sellick available on Ravelry.com here: Brioche Pumpkin
