Crochet Amour Sampler ~ May

Building Blocks, May, Alpine Stitch

The Alpine stitch is an all-time favorite for crocheters new and old.  It displays its recognizable texture with the use of post stitches.  You will fall into the rhythm of this cozy stitch and watch a forest of trees appear.

Each month we will offer a new Sampler Square class/technique.  Edna's expert guidance will help you master new textures and stitches to develop a more versatile crochet toolkit.  

SKILLS REQUIRED: Students should be proficient in basic crochet skills such as chain, single crochet, double crochet.  These skills will not be taught during this session.

YOU WILL LEARN: foundation double crochet, front post treble

MATERIALS NEEDED: Any worsted weight yarn, Crochet Hook size J (6mm).  We recommend Cascade 220 for this project.
