Charlotte the Chick

Charlotte the Chick is a colorful hen crocheted using two floral granny squares. It will add some rustic, farmhouse charm to your spring decor! This versatile pattern allows for endless yarn color combinations,  19and can be crocheted using yarn scraps so it’s quite suitable as a stashbuster project.

Skills Required:  This is an intermediate crochet class.  Students should already know how to double crochet AND make a granny square.  Granny square construction will not be taught in this class.

You Will Learn:  How to make the Spring Court Granny Square. How to change colors during construction.  Chick construction.

Materials Required: Worsted weight scrap yarn in colors of your choice for your chick. Pattern for Granny Square Chicken.  Size C (2.75mm) Hook.  Dawn is using one ball of Cherub Aran prints for her chick.  

Poly fill and safety eyes will be included in this class.

Homework:  Please, have your pattern printed and yarn wound before class begins.
