Show off your favorite color with the wave stitch. The wave stitch alternate stitches of varying heights for a pattern that looks tricker than it is.
Each month we will offer a new Sampler Square class/technique. Edna's expert guidance will help you master new textures and stitches to develop a more versatile crochet toolkit.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Students should be proficient in basic crochet skills such as chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and half-double crochet. These skills will not be taught during this session.
YOU WILL LEARN: back loop across stitches
MATERIALS NEEDED: Any worsted weight yarn, Crochet Hook size K (6.5mm). We recommend Cascade 220 for this project.
The pattern we will use is Crochet Amour Sampler by Toni Lipsey, Edna's favorite pattern designer! This pattern is available from Ravelry.com and includes patterns for 20 unique crocheted squares.
