This is for my dog lovers, the cutest simplest dog sweater that I've ever seen, and I don't even own a dog. The Edinburgh Dog Sweater is a beginner friendly pattern that is worked from neck to tail with a single piece of yarn, using raglan increases. The pattern can easily be altered to fit dogs of different shapes and sizes.
Skills Required: Be proficient in knitting, purling and working in the round.
You Will Learn: How to increases using the knit front back (kfb) method, make arm and harness holes and I-cord edging.
Materials Needed: US 6 (4mm) and US 8 (5mm) needles. Any worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern. We recommend Cascaded 220. You can get the pattern here on Raverly.
This class will be in two sessions. The first part you will working from the chest to the arm and harness holes. The second session you will be working the back section.
HOMEWORK: You will need to have the neck ribbing down before you come to the class, so that you can get started on the chest of the sweater.
