Happy New Year!
Join us for our first KAL of the year, Harvest Flower by Jessie Maed.
As soon as we all saw this pattern, we were in LOVE! So, I knew you would be too. In fact, I can count off about a dozen of you that already have yarn for it. Edna probably has it finished already since she had a VERY long road trip for the holidays. So we are trusting that she's got lots of tips and tricks up her sleeve! No pressure Edna, really.
New to what a KAL is??
KAL stands for 'Knit A Long' which means exactly that...a project that we knit along together. While this is not a class, there will be a staff member about to answer small questions.
It's so fun to cast on the same project as others because not only are no two alike, someone sitting next to you may have an idea or an inspiration for your project. These days we seem to need to push away from social media and be social IRL! IRL - In real life.
BUT...I understand wanting to participate in something and either being too far away or recovering from surgery...believe me, I get that last one. I'm just now walking again. so, for the first time ever we are offering a Zoom option.
Here's the Details:
Cost = FREE
Dates: In Person: Thursdays 10:30-12:30 & 5:30-7:30 starting Jan. 15 to Feb. 12th
Zoom: Wednesdays 2:00pm -3:00 pm Eastern time starting Jan. 14 - Feb. 11th
What do you need to do? Grab your pattern HERE, decide on your yarn...we have all sorts of good ideas for this. I am using Morris dk, some are using Miss Babs Yowza, and it would be gorgeous in Woolpaka Lite! Come on in and let us help you with colors!
Last thing! I've set a goal for a finished photo on Saturday, Feb.14th @ 2:00! I need a deadline, I don't know about you.
Sign up below especially if you want a Zoom link. Can't wait to see all the color combos!
