Shaping Your Knits: Increasing & Decreasing (Skill Building)

You have a project that you would love to make, but it contains increases or decreases, and you're not sure how to make them. No worries! Ronnie has a fantastic class that will teach you how to increase (widen your project) and decrease (narrow your project). These are essential skills for rounding the top of your knitted beanie, shaping the toe of a sock, shaping the sleeve or body of a sweater, shaping a shawl, and much more.
You Will Learn: This class will cover the following increases: kfb (knit front and back), yo (yarn over), M1R & M1L (make 1 right and left), backwards loop cast on, and LL1/RL) lifted increases. The class will also cover the following decreases: k2tog (knit 2 together), ssk (slip slip knit), p2tog (purl 2 together), and CDD (center double decrease).
Skills required: Students should be PROFICIENT with knit and purl stitches.
Materials: Bring a circular needle size 6 or 7 and 1 skein of worsted yarn.
