Knitting Essentials ~ July Edition

This month’s dishcloth was inspired by the book "These Happy Golden Years" by Laura Ingalls Wilder.  The Home is Best dishcloth is perfect for knitting after coming home from many days of travel... like a summer vacay... vacation is great, but home is BEST!  This pattern is composed of pretty lace cables and purl hearts. 

Skills Required:  Students should have completed "Learn to Knit" and have a proficient knowledge of Knit and Purl stitches

You Will Learn:  How to cable 

Supplies: Pattern for the Dishcloth,  one ball of 24/7 Cotton and a US 7 knitting needle

Homework:  Cast On number of stitches pattern calls for.  Complete the first few rounds according to pattern instructions for the border.  We will begin the class on the pattern section.
