This month’s dishcloth was inspired by The Secret Garden. This pattern features a lovely lace design which reminds you of the curtain of roses in the secret garden that Mary describes in the book. Learn how lace patterns create a unique fabric in this months Knitting Essentials.
Skills Required: Students should have completed "Learn to Knit" and have a proficient knowledge of Knit and Purl stitches
You Will Learn: How to knit a lace patterns to create a dreamy fabric.
Supplies: Pattern for the Dishcloth, Shiny Happy Cotton, paired with a size US 5 or 6 Needle. OR Amano Sami Cotton paired with a size US 3 needle. Pandamonium cotton/bamboo would also be a nice choice (size 3 needle)
Homework: Cast On 41 stitches. Knit 4 rows. (Knit every row). We will start the class on the pattern section.
When: Saturday, June 28, 1:30-3:30pm
