Intermediate Knitting Class

The Linocut Hat makes an eye catching gift for the plant lover in your life. You’ll enjoy stretching your stranded colourwork skills with the unusual, non-symmetrical pattern, and using colour to create your unique take on the design. 

SKILLS REQUIRED:  Students should be proficient knitters.  You should be proficient in basics of knitting, including knitting in the round.  These skills will not be taught or reviewed.

YOU WILL LEARN:  Stranded colorwork; Plus learn the smart ladderback jacquard technique: it’s the perfect way to manage long floats.

MATERIALS NEEDED:  DK or Worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colorways;  US 3 and US 6, 16 inch circular needles; Stitch markers.

Homework: You will need to have the ribbing down before the class.  Any stretchy cast on will work for pattern.
