Knit Your First Hat!!

You've learned to knit and purl and you are LOVING it!!  Now what?!   Well, how about making your First Hat or Beanie?!  YES!!!  This is the class just for you!

Skills Required:  Adventurous Beginner.  Students should be knitting and purling comfortably.

You Will Learn:  How to read a pattern, how to knit in the round, and how to decrease for the crown.

Supplies Needed:  Any worsted weight yarn of your choice.  One of our favorites is Malabrigo Rios.  US 7, size 16"inch circular needle, size US7 double pointed needles for decreasing the crown.  Printed pattern for The eM Hat by Emily Russell.  Available for free from ravelry.com here:  The eM Hat.

Homework:  Please have your hat pattern ready to go and your yarn wound before class begins.  

When:  Saturday July 19th 10:30-12:30pm and Sunday July 27th 2-4
