My First Sock Class ~ Top Down

Learn to knit from the top down with My First Sock Class. This class uses worsted weight yarn which makes it easy to see your work as you knit, ensuring a successful and enjoyable learning experience. Start making your own socks in no time with this approachable and helpful class.

Skills Required:  This class is perfect for Confident Beginners.  Students should be comfortable with knit, purl, and knitting in the round.

You Will Learn:  Magic Loop Method, Basic sock construction (one sock at a time), Kitchener stitch.

Materials:  Worsted weight yarn of your choice, Berocco Vintage or Malabrigo Rios is recommended.    Needles:  US size 5, 32 inch circular (for magic loop method)  Pattern for "Learn to Knit Magic Loop Socks by Staci Perry (Link Below)

NOTE:  If you choose to use DK weight yarn (Vintage DK or Ruby & Roses DK) go down a needle size.
