My First Sweater ~ Flax Worsted Pullover

If you have been yearning to make your first sweater but don't know where to start, THIS is the class for YOU! In this class, we will make a baby or toddler sweater. Beginning knitters can use this small scale sweater to develop the skills needed to create personalized sweaters in the future. Don't just buy a sweater, make one!
Skills Required: This is a great class for Adventurous Beginners. You should be proficient in knitting, purling and knitting in the round. (knitting in the round will not be taught in this class)
You Will Learn: Basic sweater construction, Putting stitches "on hold", Creating a raglan increase
Materials Needed: Approximately 300 yards of Worsted/aran weight yarn, pattern for Flax Worsted (free!!), Needles size US6 and US8, 16 inch circular and DPNs in each size
Note: Yardage depends on the baby size you chose. For our shop sample, we used Lisboa yarn and made a size 6-12mth. (one ball of Lisboa was used).
Homework: Please have your yarn wound before class begins and your pattern printed

Thursday May 15, 6:00-8:00pm, and Saturday May 24, 10:30-1230pm
