My First Sweater - Top Down

Get ready to level up your knitting game with My First Sweater!  This cute little sweater is the perfect way to learn the basics of sweater-making. You'll have a blast making your first sweater while gaining valuable skills. 

This is the child’s top down seamless version of the ever popular straight needle “Roll Raglan” pullover. It is a classic raglan pullover, knitted seamless from the neck down. The simple design and roll edges looks great in any yarn!

Skills Required: This is a great class for Adventurous Beginners.  You should already be comfortable with knit, purl, knitting in the round

You Will Learn:  Basic sweater construction, Putting stitches "on hold"

Materials Needed:  450 yards of worsted weight yarn to make smallest size.  We used Queensland Fair Isle to make the shop sample.  Berroco Vintage would also be a great choice.  Printed pattern is not included but available here:  #37 Top Down Roll Raglan   16 inch Circular Needles: US 7 & US 5;   Sleeves: Double Point Needles- US 7 and US 5

WHEN:  Saturdays, March 1 and 15, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
