Ripple Head Scarf: Beginner Lace Knitting

This breezy lace head scarf is a perfect summer knit for anyone who wants to use up the last of a beautiful yarn, wants to learn how to read lace knitting charts, or just wants a quick project. This scarf makes a great gift since it does not require sizing, and it adds a bit of fae whimsy to any summer outfit.
Skills Required: Must already know how to knit and purl.
What You Will Learn: How to read a lace chart, I-cord edging, how to read your lace knitting, I-cord bind off, and optional knitting with beads.
Materials Needed: Bring size US 6/4.0mm and US 10/6.0mm needles with a skein of Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton DK yarn. Alternatively, you can bring 50g of any yarn between sport and DK weight, using needles between size US4/3.5mm to US 6/4.0mm. Recommended fibers: silk, cotton, linen, alpaca, superwash wool, nylon, lyocell.
The class will be in two sessions. The first will be walking through the cast on, and lace chart walk through, and the second explaining how to incorporate beads and then cast off with I-cord. The pattern will be provided to you the day of the class.
