Rudy the Reindeer

This pattern is for an Intermediate knitter who is ready to tackle something new.   There are many pieces and parts that are knitted flat and seamed together.  This is the perfect pattern to use up those bits and pieces of worsted weight stash/scraps.  

PLEASE NOTE:  The pattern is for knitting flat on two needles and all pieces are seamed afterwards. There are lots of separate pieces which require seaming and sewing.

Materials Needed: 

Needle: pattern suggests US 2 or 2.5, however, we recommend a size 4 if you plan to use worsted weight, size 2 or 3 if you plan to use DK weight.

We recommend Berocco Vintage or Cascade 220
• DK, worsted or light aran yarn (approx 77m): Yarn A
• DK, worsted or light aran yarn (approx 15m): Yarn B
• 4ply weight (fingering) yarn in 3 contrasting colours for the clothing: Yarn C, Yarn D, Yarn E
• Scraps of black yarn, DK or 4ply for the eyes, ear tips and facial features
• Toy stuffing
• A tiny button

• Knitting needles: A pair each of 3mm and 2.75mm
