This is a quick and easy knit, excellent for beginning knitters who are ready to work on a new project!
This is the perfect pattern for that one skein of fingering weight/sock weight yarn you've been wondering what to do with... OR that beautiful hand-dyed Ruby & Roses, or Farmers Daughter you have been eyeing and wondering... WHAT can I MAKE?! Well, look no further than the TGV Shawl.
The pattern was originally designed for one skein of sock yarn, but can easily be adapted to other weights (tips on how to do this are provided in the pattern).
Materials Needed: Approximately 400 yards of any fingering/sock weight yarn (One Hank), US size 6 and 7 circular needle (32 inch or 40 inch)

Skills Required: This is the perfect beginner class. You should already know how to cast-on, knit and purl with ease.
You Will Learn: Stretchy cast-on such as Cable Cast on and basic shawl construction
Homework: Have your pattern and yarn purchased and wound before start of class.
