Unraveling the Cable (Skill Building)

Don't worry!!  We will not be literally unraveling a cable in this class!   But we will learn the art of cable knitting with Unraveling the Cable!  Take the *mystery* out of cables and master how to read charts and abbreviations for cables.  2/2 RC, C2F, etc. WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?!  After this class, you will also speak this "Cable Language".  :)  This skill building class will have you creating stunning cables with ease. 

Skills Required:  Students should be Intermediate Knitters.  You should already know how to cast on, knit, and purl with ease.

You Will Learn:  How to cable WITH a cable needle; How to cable WITHOUT a cable needle, How to read a cable chart and read cable abbreviations/terms.

Materials Needed:  Worsted weight (non-superwash) yarn in a light-medium solid color.  US size 8 needles (straight or circular),  J-style Cable Needle sized for worsted weight yarn, 2 Locking Stitch Markers
