Building Blocks ~ Knit Sampler

Are you ready for a challenge in the New Year!?  Building Blocks Knit Sampler is the perfect way to add new stitch patterns, skills, and adventure to your knitting tool kit.  Each month we will work on a designated square from the book "Building Blocks" by Knit Purl Hunter.  At the end of the year, you will have 12 lovely squares to stitch together into an afghan or baby blanket!!

SKILLS REQUIRED:  This is a great class for an adventurous beginner who wants to improve their skills!  You should have already taken "Learn to Knit" or be proficient in cast-on, knit, purl techniques.

YOU WILL LEARN:  A new stitch pattern/block per month.  How to read a pattern and pattern abbreviations.  Each block focuses on new stitches and techniques in a sequential fashion that “builds” upon the previously learned skill.

MATERIALS NEEDED:  Building Blocks book (available in shop); Worsted weight yarn of your choice; Needles size, US 8; tapestry needle, stitch markers.

Some people use one color, some use a different color per square...it's up to you. You will need around 10 skeins of Cascade 220 for a one color blanket and 12 skeins if you are changing colors. You also get 10% off your supplies. We will email you a code after you sign up!

Cristi will be using Cascade 220.

This class meets once a month and is only $60 for the WHOLE YEAR!  That is only $5 per class if you can believe it.  Open to knitters of all skill levels.
