ALL ABOARD... Hiwassee Loop Train Ride from Delano, TN
Departing from Delano, TN this easygoing rail adventure invites knitting/ crocheting, chatting, and enabling each other's yarn habits, this is the perfect outing for anyone who thinks every train should have a yarn car!
Sit back, relax, and knit your way through some of Tennessee's most beautiful scenery. Travel in a comfortable, climate-controlled vintage railcar while enjoying onboard narration, stunning views, and the camaraderie of fellow yarn enthusiasts. Whether you spend the journey finishing a long-awaited project or starting one more than you planned, you'll leave with memories, new friends, and probably a few fresh project ideas.
These historic rails once carried passengers and freight between Etowah, Tennessee, and Marietta, Georgia. On Sunday June 28th, they carry a different kind of precious cargo: knitters/ crocheters, project bags, and enough yarn to supply a small village.
We know that this may appeal to non-yarn lovers too...(Mr. Yarn IS so excited!).. So, I'm offering a ticket for them that doesn't include the fabulous swag bag we are putting together for you! Use Code 'NoBagforMe' at the checkout to save $25.00. We are still putting together a small snack kit for them.
