Yowza Mini - Eleventh Hour Pre-order

In just a few short weeks, we will be turning 11. Can you believe that?? Eleven years of yarn squishing, friendship making, and community building! It's hard to believe when I look back that this IS what I was supposed to do when I grew up.  My first pick as a kid was a veterinarian, as a teenager I didn't really know, and then in college made the leap into horticulture. All the while, I was knitting. So here we are.

As is my usual, I like to base a colorway on what is a traditional anniversary gift. This year is Steel.  As I approached Miss Babs about it, I had no idea where I was going to take it since I am very vocal about my dislike of grey. There's nothing wrong with grey, it's our best-selling color! It's just not for me.

I ended up landing on the idea of Tempered Steel. Tempering steel refers to the process of giving steel more strength and durability. It also makes a GORGEOUS color when it's been tempered. 

I think they knocked it out of the park, don't you?

Size: 200 yd / 2.8 oz (182m / 80g) skeins
Content: 100% superwash Merino wool
Gauge: Light worsted weight. 4.5-5.5 stitches per inch on US 6-8.
